Man remanded over murder of wife
A 59-year-old man charged with the murder of his 55-year-old wife, who was found dead at their home in West Sussex, has been remanded in custody.

Edward Edrich is accused of shooting Claire Edrich in Poles Lane, Lowfield Heath, Crawley, on Tuesday evening. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Mr Edrich was arrested that night and charged by police the following day.

He appeared at Crawley magistrates and was remanded in custody until 16 February.
