'Israeli Banksy' visits students

Work by Know Hope

A street artist known to admirers as the Israeli Banksy is to conduct a three-day workshop for students at a Surrey university campus.

Know Hope, 23, renowned for displaying cardboard cut-out figures in Tel Aviv, will be at the University of the Creative Arts in Farnham next week.

It follows a project last year when five students flew to Tel Aviv to make a documentary about the artist.

A special screening of the film will be staged during Know Hope's visit.

He will then hold a question and answer session with film and fine art students.

"This is a rare and exciting opportunity for students to meet an artist who is a challenging and provocative figure in Israel," said Fine Art course leader Paul Vivien.
