The man asked the girl about modelling before assaulting her

An e-fit image has been released of a man police in Surrey want to speak to in connection with a sexual assault.

A 13-year-old girl was grabbed by a man as she walked along Snatts Hill in Oxted at about 1430 GMT on 1 November.

A Surrey Police spokesperson said the man asked her if she had thought about modelling, then grabbed her wrist.

As she tried to pull away he touched her inappropriately. When she released herself from his grasp she kicked out at the man before running away.

The suspect was described as white, aged in his mid 40s, around 6ft (1.8m) tall, of slim build, with a large nose and was bald with dark hair at the sides.

He was wearing a white, short-sleeved t-shirt and light blue jeans.

Det Con Simon Gray, of Reigate CID, said: "The young girl was not injured but clearly we need to identify this man in order to prevent him from striking again."
