A trial in which a 34-year-old chef is accused of murdering his wife, whose body was found in a wheelie bin in Surrey, has been set for next year.

Peter Wallner, who denies the charge, was to face trial next month, but the Old Bailey case is now set for 10 May.

The body of Melanie Wallner was found outside the family home in Cobham last year. It is claimed her body was kept in a freezer for several years.

Wallner has admitted preventing her lawful and decent burial.

Mrs Wallner, 30, of Hamilton Avenue, was last seen in August 2006.
