A three-day music festival with headline acts Motorhead, Brian Wilson and The Happy Mondays is getting under way in Surrey.

Guilfest, held annually since 1992 in Stoke Park, Guildford won the Best Family Festival Award at the UK Festival Awards in 2006.

The festival is now attended by about 20,000 each day.

Acts performing on Friday as well as Motorhead include The Stranglers and Tragedy All Metal Bee Gees Tribute.

Saturday is headlined by Brian Wilson and also features The Charlatans and Toploader, with The Happy Mondays closing the festival on Sunday.

The event has two main stages, dance and rock tents, unsigned talent venues and children's entertainment.
