Katie Price's ex-boyfriend Dane Bowers and another man have been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving in Surrey, police sources have said.

Former boyband singer Mr Bowers, 29, and a 26-year-old man, were involved in a crash near the model's home in Woldingham, at 0420 BST on Tuesday.

They were held at Reigate police station and bailed until 17 June.

Ms Price - also known as Jordan - recently announced her split from her husband Peter Andre.

The stars of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! had been married for three-and-half years.

Mr Bowers and the 26-year-old unidentified man, were arrested after police were alerted to a loud noise at Ms Price's home and discovered a Vauxhall Tigra had crashed in a nearby hedge.

Police were unable to confirm whether either of the men denied being at the wheel.

Mr Bowers, a former member of Another Level, burst into the charts in 1998 with a British take on the US R&B sound but split in 2000.

He later worked as a television presenter.
