Murder charge follows fatal crash

A man has been charged with murdering a 21-year-old pedestrian who died in a road crash in Surrey.

William Buckingham, 21, from Morden, south London, was hit by a car on the A24 in Ewell in the early hours of 27 September. He died in hospital.

Daniel Press, 23, a bus driver from Epsom, will appear at Reigate Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

Two women, from Epsom, will also appear in court charged with perverting the course of justice.

Alyssa Press, 28, and Kerry Barnett, 23, were arrested along with Mr Press on Monday.

Surrey Police said they were still forensically examining a car thought to be connected with the crash.
