Three held in A24 murder inquiry

Three more people have been arrested in connection with the murder of a pedestrian who died in a hit-and-run crash in Surrey.

William Buckingham, 21, from Morden, south London, was hit by a car on the A24 in Ewell on 27 September in the early hours. He died in hospital.

Police said two women, 28 and 23, and a man aged 23, were arrested and being interviewed on Monday.

Three men, two aged 23 and one aged 20, were arrested and bailed last month.

Officers said they had also seized a car that was believed to be connected to Mr Buckingham's death.
