Crews tackle house explosion fire

More than 20 firefighters tackled a blaze at a house in Surrey, which followed an explosion.

Surrey Fire and Rescue Service said four crews were called out to the incident in Greenfield End, Staines, at about 1310 BST on Friday.

No-one was hurt in the incident, which was dealt with in two hours, the service said.

The area was cordoned off while investigations into the cause of the outbreak were being carried out.
