A 42-year-old cleaner was remanded on bail by Redhill magistrates on Friday accused of murder.

Nicola Bushnell, 42, from Epsom, Surrey, was ordered to face trial at the Old Bailey on 4 November.

The body of Joyce Cregeen, 81, a retired civilian police administrative officer, was discovered at her house in Sefton Road, Epsom, on 15 May.

A post-mortem examination revealed the cause of Mrs Cregeen's death as multiple stab wounds to the torso.
