'Crack house' closure is enforced

A "crack house" has been closed by police and council teams for three months in a residential road in Surrey.

The closure order for the property in Beales Road, Bookham, remains in force until October.

Neighbourhood Sgt Simon Cox said anti-social behaviour at the house was "distressing" for residents and an "increasing concern" for police.

He said police had to prove the house was linked to Class A drugs and disorder to obtain the closure order.
