Music lovers attend 17th festival

A mixture of established bands and unsigned talent performed

Thousands of music lovers have gathered in Surrey for an independent music festival's 17th annual event.

GuilFest hosted about 200 acts over the three-day music and performing arts event at Stoke Park near Guildford.

Blondie, Bowling for Soup, Kula Shaker and The Levellers were among the main acts at the festival which is popular for its eclectic line-up.

GuilFest included two main stages, dance and rock tents, unsigned talent venues and children's entertainment.

There were also theatre and comedy venues.
