Film-maker to get honorary degree

A BAFTA award-winning film-maker will be given an honorary degree by a university in Surrey.

Paul Watson, a film-maker for 40 years, will be given the special Master of Arts degree by Farnham's University College for the Creative Arts.

Mr Watson won a BAFTA in 2008 for Outstanding Creative Contribution to Television, and is known for his fly-on-the-wall documentaries.

The award will be presented at Guildford Cathedral on 24 June.
