A3 fatal car crash victim named

A car driver who died in a road crash in Surrey has been named by police.

Edward Thomas, 69, of Surbiton, died in hospital following a crash on the A3 southbound between Hook and Evesham on Friday 9 May.

His Ford Fiesta was in a collision with a lorry at about 1235 BST. He was taken by ambulance to hospital, but was pronounced dead.

Investigators from Surrey Police have appealed for more witnesses to the incident to contact them.
