Prescription drugs taken from car
Prescription drugs have been stolen from a car in Surrey, leading to fears they could harm someone if they are used in the wrong way.

The theft took place while the blue Ford Fiesta was parked in Highbury Drive, Leatherhead, between 2200 BST last Sunday and 0600 BST on Monday.

Police said two strips of Tramadol pills, which are prescription painkillers, had been taken.

They warned if taken incorrectly they could have unpleasant side effects.

Pc Rachel Pocock said they could lead to either respiratory depression or gastric bleeding.

"I would appeal to anyone who has any information regarding this incident, or if you have been offered the drugs, to contact Surrey Police."
