Teenager denies baby son's murder

A teenager from Surrey has appeared in court to deny murdering his five-month-old son.

Steven Wilkinson, of Willow Close, Beare Green, Dorking, was 17 at the time of his son Rylan's death in October 2006.

Mr Wilkinson, who is now 18, appeared at the Old Bailey via videolink, where he was remanded into custody ahead of a trial on 14 April 2008.

The baby died after being admitted to hospital with severe head injuries.
