Teenage boys warned over graffiti
Four teenage boys have been warned after they admitted carrying out more than 20 incidents of graffiti in one area of Surrey.

The boys, aged between 14 and 15, and from Guildford, admitted the offences after a police investigation following complaints from local residents.

Officers said they were alerted after a number of different tags appeared in the Stoke Fields and Stoke Road area.

Three of the boys were reprimanded and the fourth was given a final warning.

Neighbourhood specialist officer, Pc Dan Nash, said the total cost of the damage caused by the graffiti was in the region of £3,000.

"If they continue to offend, the next step could well be youth court," he said.
