Couple attacked by gang of youths

A gang of youths attacked a couple in Surrey, first pulling the woman's hair and then kicking and punching the man when he tried to step in.

Appealing for information on Friday, police said two of the youths involved were described as white, about 5ft 10in tall, and of a stocky build.

Police said about 10 youths had followed the pair in Vale Road, Ash, just after midnight on 11 March.

The man, who was kicked repeatedly, was left with head injuries.
