Taste of farming to tempt new recruits

With a predicted shortage of up to 10,000 recruits nationwide to agriculture, children in Suffolk are being encouraged to take up farming as a career.

80% of the county is used for farming and, like much of the country, the sector is suffering from a recruitment shortage.

An event to promote the industry was held in Semer in June 2010.
