Driver in A134 Suffolk crash dies in hospital

A man has died in hospital following a crash in Suffolk.

His Vauxhall Corsa collided with a white van near to Newton Green Golf Club on the A134 at Newton, near Sudbury, shortly after midday.

Firefighters pulled him from the car and he was taken by air ambulance to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.

He had suffered serious injuries and died in hospital, Suffolk Police said. Officers are appealing for witnesses to the crash to contact them.
