Electricity is restored to homes

Homes in Suffolk which experienced a power cut for up to two nights following severe snow have had electricity restored.

Parts of Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, Brandon and Wenhaston had been affected.

It is believed that all have had power restored by EDF Energy.

Customers in parts of Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire, some of whom have gone without electricity for three nights, are due to get power later.
