The squad that erased Christmas

"Graffiti busters" have mistakenly removed some Christmas pavement decorations in Suffolk.

Green footprints on streets in Ipswich were meant to lead people to festive late night shopping and the pantomime.

But it was reported to the council as vandalism so the graffiti team steam-cleaned some of them off.

Ipswich Borough Council said it thought it had informed everyone about the footprints, but forgot to tell the graffiti team.
