Moped crash victim is identified

Police have released the name of a moped rider who died in a collision in Suffolk.

Kirstie Seaman, 24, of Byland Close in Ipswich was pronounced dead soon after the collision between her moped, a van and a car on the A137 at Wherstead.

A 51-year-old man from the Ipswich area was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and released on police bail.

Police appealed for witnesses to the incident on Monday to contact officers.
