Man charged in car collision case

A man has been charged with dangerous driving after a collision which left a man in a critical condition.

Chris Corder, 42, from Hadleigh, Suffolk, remains in hospital after the incident in Benton Street, Hadleigh, on 27 September.

Andrew Boyd, 42, from Kentish Town in London, who is musician Pete Doherty's manager, has also been charged with driving without insurance.

He is due to appear before Bury St Edmunds magistrates on 24 November.

Mr Boyd was also charged with careless driving, failing to stop at the scene of an injury collision, failing to report an injury collision, attempting to pervert the course of justice and driving other than in accordance with a licence.
