Woman dies in two-car collision

A 30-year-old woman from a village in Norfolk has died in a road traffic accident in Suffolk.

Kelly Palmer, of Bradwell, near Great Yarmouth, was driving a Suzuki Vitara car which was involved in a collision with a Citroen Picasso.

The accident happened on the B1375 at Oulton at about 1740 GMT on Monday.

Two children in the Suzuki - a seven-year-old boy and a nine-year-old girl - and the 19-year-old man driving the Citroen were taken to hospital.

'Leg injuries'

The boy has now been transferred to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.

The girl is expected to be discharged from the James Paget Hospital, Gorleston, on Wednesday.

The 19-year-old man sustained serious leg and lower body injuries and remains in the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

Police are appealing for witnesses and would like to hear from anyone who may have seen either vehicle before the crash or the collision itself.
