A prisoner has absconded from an open prison in Suffolk.

Steven Craggs, 32, who was serving 12 years for causing grievous bodily harm, went missing from Hollesley Bay on Wednesday afternoon.

Suffolk Police said Craggs is 5ft 9ins (1.75m), of stocky build, with brown hair, blue eyes and has tattoos on both arms.

He has connections to the Bexhill on Sea area of East Sussex. Anyone who sees him should contact police.

His tattoos depict a red devil, with the word Steve, on one arm and a spider's web and two crosses on the other, police said.
