Police probe 'unexplained death'

The death of a woman at a property in Suffolk is being treated as unexplained, police have said.

On Sunday morning police were called by a member of the public who was concerned for the safety of a woman in a flat in Victoria Street, Ipswich.

Officers entered the property and found a dead woman.

A police spokeswoman said the discovery was being treated as unexplained, and further inquiries are being carried out to determine what happened.
