Man, 47, arrested in arson quiz

A Suffolk man has been arrested on suspicion of arson, assault and theft after a fire in a shed at the back of a pub.

The 47-year-old from Eye was held after a fire was started at the premises in his home town on Monday night.

A police spokesman could not say whether all the alleged offences were carried out at the same time.

He said the man was in custody at Bury St Edmunds police station and officers would question him later.
