Police in Suffolk have renewed warnings about the dangers of hitch-hiking after a woman said she had been indecently assaulted after accepting a lift. The woman told detectives she left her home in Stowmarket on Sunday afternoon and accepted a lift on the A14 eastbound, from a man in a black car. She was driven to Pound Lane in Little Blakenham where she said she was assaulted before managing to escape. Her attacker is described as white, aged about 30, with a shaved head. He had a black tattoo on his left arm and was wearing black sunglasses, a white, short-sleeved shirt and jeans. Suffolk Police said they wanted to talk to anyone who saw a lone woman on the A14, between 1600 BST and 1800 BST on Sunday, or who saw the black car in Little Blakenham.
