Police plea after series of fires

Three "suspicious" fires broke out in a Suffolk town earlier, police said.

Suffolk Police are appealing for information about the incidents, which all happened within a short distance of each other in Hadleigh.

A shed was set alight, which spread to a house in Meadow Way. People inside the house managed to escape uninjured, police said.

A field off Meadow Way and a hedge in Bradfield Avenue were also on fire in the early hours.
