Police hunting road sign thieves

Thieves have stolen 24 signs from two Suffolk villages in one night.

Between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning 22 road signs and two signs for a playing field were taken.

In Bradfield St George, near Bury St Edmunds, road signs displaying road closures and diversions were stolen by an unknown number of people.

The other two signs were taken from the street in Church Road, Felsham, about four miles from Bradfield St George. Police are linking the two thefts.
