Inmate absconds from open prison

Joseph Donoghue has connections to the Leicester area

An inmate serving a four-year sentence for burglary has absconded from Hollesley Bay open prison in Suffolk.

Joseph Donoghue, 26, left the prison on the evening of Saturday 4 July and was last seen making off on foot.

Donoghue is described as white, 5ft 11in (1.8m) with short brown hair and several tattoos and was wearing a blue vest and grey tracksuit bottoms.

He has connections to the Leicester area and Ireland. Police are appealing for information on his whereabouts.
