Armed raiders threaten shopkeeper

A shopkeeper was threatened with a knife and hit during an armed robbery by three masked men in Lowestoft.

Suffolk Police said the man was left shaken but unhurt after the raid at 2120 BST on Tuesday at the Premier Shop on The Green.

A police spokeswoman said the robbers, who made off with cash from the till, were dressed in black and two of them were wearing gloves.

Officers investigating the raid appealed for witnesses to come forward.
