Thirteen churches in Suffolk are to benefit from a share of £60,000 in cash grants for repairs and improvements.
Money comes from the grants committee of the Suffolk Historic Churches Trust and will go on re-roofing, stonework, repairs and guards for windows.
"The committee was impressed at the quality of fundraising by churches, often in very small communities", said Simon Tennent, of the grants committee.
Cash amounts ranging from £1,000 to £10,000 will be distributed.
One project to undergo repairs are the turrets on the Grade 1 listed church of St Peter & St Paul in Clare.
The pinnacles, dating from about 1460, have suffered over the years.
Churchwarden John Collecott said he was delighted with the award of a Trust grant towards this project.
Grants have been awarded to the parish churches of Blyford, Clare, Framlingham, Monks Eleigh, Shimpling, Syleham, Raydon, Tannington, Wattisfield, Wetherden, Wickham Skeith, Wilby and Wissett.
