SnOasis will include facilities for 14 sports on a 350-acre site

A £350m winter sports resort being built on a disused quarry in Suffolk will soon provide thousands of jobs.

SnOasis is designed to become England's first centre of excellence for winter sports athletes.

Developer Onslow Suffolk said work on the Great Blakenham site will start next year and recruitment for construction workers was on course.

The construction phase alone will provide 3,500 jobs, with 1,800 jobs on offer once the centre opens.
