Man arrested on suspicion of rape

A 26-year-old man has been arrested in a village in Suffolk on suspicion of rape after a woman was attacked.

The man from Trimley near Felixstowe is being held at Bury St Edmunds police station, where he is due to be questioned.

Police cordoned off an area in the village of Ringshall near Needham Market as officers searched for clues, said a Suffolk Police spokeswoman.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police.
