Reshuffle posts for Suffolk MPs

Chris Mole, the MP for Ipswich, has become a junior whip

Two Suffolk MPs have been promoted in the government's reshuffle.

Bob Blizzard, the member for Waveney, becomes a senior whip in the Treasury. He was previously an assistant whip. He was elected to Parliament in 1997.

Chris Mole, the MP for Ipswich, becomes a junior whip. He has represented the town since 2001.

Before that, Bromley-born Mr Mole was deputy chairman of the East of England Development Agency and leader of Suffolk County Council.
