An owl sanctuary in Suffolk where 10 birds of prey were set free has said all but one are now back in captivity.
It is thought animal rights activists used bolt-cutters to break into cages at Stonham Barns, near Stowmarket.
The Suffolk Owl Sanctuary has described the action as mindless. An 11-year-old Pharaoh owl is still missing.
Staff arrived at the sanctuary on Friday morning to find a snowy owl on the lawn and five birds missing. Since then four have been recaptured.
