Date for shot journalist inquest

A date has been set for an inquest into the death of a BBC producer who was killed while working in Somalia in February 2005.

Foreign Affairs producer Kate Peyton, who grew up near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, was shot in the back in the capital, Mogadishu.

A five-day inquest into the 39-year-old's death will start on 24 November, a Suffolk Police spokeswoman said.

The inquest is due to be held at Ipswich Crown Court.
