Man is charged over armed siege

A man has been charged after a three-hour siege in Suffolk and will appear in court on Saturday morning.

An armed response unit was called after the man barricaded himself inside a house in Boyton Road, Ipswich.

Police negotiators worked through Thursday evening before officers made a forced entry to the house.

Keith Vince, 54, of Hogarth Road, Ipswich, has been charged with making threats to commit criminal damage and causing harrassment or alarm.
