Aerial exercises from RAF base

Training exercises involving the RAF and NATO forces are taking place from RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk.

Flying activity will be increased during the week from Monday.

The US Air Force 48th Fighter Wing will also begin training exercises, performing night-flying missions until further notice.

The base said the exercises by the US, RAF and other NATO nations were "critical to successful operations throughout the world".
