US airman discharged over drugs
An airman has been thrown out of the US Airforce after admitting using the drugs cocaine, ecstasy and marijuana.

Quinticello Townsend, will be discharged from RAF Lakenheath, Suffolk, after six-months confinement.

Airman Townsend, assigned to the 48th Equipment Maintenance Squadron, admitted three counts of wrongfully using a controlled substance.

Townsend was arrested under US military law after an undercover operation at the base in September last year.
