Fake watches from China worth £2.4m are seized at port
Fake watches worth £2.5m bearing logos and colours of top football clubs have been seized at a Suffolk port.

HM Customs officers (HMRC) at the port of Felixstowe said the haul included club watches for Arsenal, Liverpool, Man Utd and Chelsea football clubs.

They arrived from China in a container on a ship called the Xin Ningbo.

Kevin Sayer, from Felixstowe Customs, said: "We have prevented a considerable amount of counterfeit goods from being purchased by an unsuspecting public."

The fakes were destined for the Christmas markets in London.

Other fake watches in the container included Rolex, Armani, Omega, Diesel, Breitling, Disney, Warner Brothers and Playboy.

This is the second seizure of counterfeit watches officers have made at Felixstowe in recent weeks.
