New hunt as third woman vanishes
Kerry Samain
Ms Samain, of no fixed abode, is known to drink out on the streets
A third woman has gone missing in the Suffolk town of Ipswich, prompting an urgent appeal for help from the police.

Kerry Samain, 27, who has no fixed address and is known to drink on the streets, has not been seen since missing an appointment on 5 October.

Police, who are already looking for two missing Ipswich prostitutes, say they are treating this latest disappearance very seriously.

Ms Samain is white, 5ft 3ins tall, with dark-brown shoulder-length hair.

She has a spotted complexion and brown eyes and is known to wear a black padded long coat and black trousers.

Det Ch Insp David Cutler, who is overseeing the inquiry, said: "We want to hear from either Kerry herself or anyone who knows of her whereabouts, as a matter of urgency.

"We will be conducting inquiries in the town centre overnight to see if they can shed any light on Kerry's whereabouts.

"It may be that Kerry has decided to leave Ipswich, as we know she has links with other areas, including Essex."

Gemma Adams, 25, from Blenheim Road in the town was reported missing by her partner on 15 November, after she failed to return home from working as a prostitute.

Last month 19-year-old prostitute Tania Nichol disappeared after leaving her home in Wolverstone Close, Ipswich.

There is still no news of either woman's whereabouts.
