Road workers set off buried bomb
Bomb disposal experts have been called to a street in Suffolk after workmen uncovered - and then set off - a buried explosive device.

The men were digging a hole in Wilde Street, Lowestoft, on Thursday evening, when it filled with flames. The workers then used earth to put out the fire.

The incident happened fewer than 100 metres from a gas storage tank. Four streets in the town have been closed.

Police believe the workmen have reburied the bomb.
