Woman priest dies after collision
A priest has died in a collision with a car while crossing the road near the village where she was a minister.

Reverend Stephanie Neal, 72, was the minister at Shadingfield in Suffolk. She was also an ex-French teacher at Sir John Leman High School in Beccles.

Police in Beccles said she was struck as she walked along the A145 in the early evening on Wednesday.

Paramedics failed to revive her and she died at the scene. The priest lived in the neighbouring village of Willingham.

Two other people have died on Suffolk roads this week.

Deborah Irwin, 28, from Rushmere St Andrew near Ipswich was killed when her car left the A14 at Levington on Tuesday.

And on Monday a motorcyclist died after a collision with a car at Martlesham.
