A 49-year-old man has been arrested after a young woman was raped on a Suffolk roadside.
The 27-year-old woman from Stowmarket was raped in a lay-by on the outskirts of Pettaugh between 1900 and 2130 BST on Monday, police said.
The man was arrested on Tuesday morning over suspicion of rape.
He is being held at Bury St Edmunds station. Detectives said they want to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time.
