FBU members want to save 12 aerial ladder jobs
As firefighters in Suffolk staged another two hour strike on Tuesday morning, union officials warned they were considering all-day strike action.

Fire Brigades Union (FBU) members have been staging two-hour strikes since the beginning of August in a dispute over 12 proposed job losses.

Suffolk County Council says it is open to negotiation, but is making preparations for any day-long strikes.

Adrian Mayhew from the FBU in Suffolk said the union was ready to talk.

"Our door is always open for negotiation," he said.

The dispute centres on turntable ladder duties at Bury St Edmunds.
