Teenager's church work experience
Alex Russell
Alex Russell will work alongside a village priest
A student is spending a week with a priest in a Suffolk village to gain work experience.

Alex Russell, 15, from Princethorpe College in Warwickshire, will be working alongside Reverend Fiona Newton in her north Suffolk parishes.

They include Brundish, Cratfield, Laxfield and Wilby.

Alex said: "I am really looking forward to it. I'll get to see what being a vicar is like and it will be an insight into the world of work."

Rev Newton said: "We are very much looking forward to Alex's visit.

"He will have the chance to learn from the farmers around here what the current farming issues are, and how spiritual the people who work close to the land are."
