Homes and businesses hit by gales
Severe weather and gales have affected homes and businesses in Suffolk.

Languard and Trinity terminals at the Port of Felixstowe - where high tower cranes are used - were both closed to container traffic.

About 400 homes around Hopton, north of Lowestoft, were without power after high winds with gusts of up to 55mph caused problems during Wednesday night.

Power company EDF Energy's Marjorie McFarlane said: "Engineers are working to restore power as soon as possible."
